DST (Discseel™) Treatment of a Patient with Sciatic Pain and Numbness in the Right Leg caused by Disc Degenerative Disease_11.03.2021

Male Patient in His 60's

Inquiry Contents

From a young age, the patient used to feel some back pain after prolonged standing. The sciatic pain and numbness in the right leg suddenly appeared 10 years ago, and he had to spend a few days in the hospital because of that.

The symptoms never disappeared but were bearable until 2 months ago, when the patient started to feel pain in the left leg too. He visited a hospital and was diagnosed with spinal stenosis caused by disc herniation. The patient was told that he needed surgical treatment but being aware of the operation-related risks he contacted our clinic hoping that there might still be a chance to avoid it.
