DST (Discseel™) Treatment of a Patient with Recurrent Low Back Pain and Sciatica by_01.04.2021

Male Patient in His 60's

Inquiry Contents

About 3 years ago the patient started having low back accompanied by pain and numbness in both of his legs.

The patient underwent an examination 2 ~ 3 months ago when he felt that symptoms were worsening and was diagnosed with disc herniation and lumbar spinal stenosis.

The doctor suggested observing his condition for some time and if it deteriorates to the point that he becomes unable to walk, to proceed with surgical treatment.

Now, especially in the morning the pain and numbness are so strong that sometimes the patient is unable to move. He visited our clinic because he was worried that waiting until he becomes unable to walk might be too late to start taking care of the problem.
