DST (Discseel™) Treatment of a Patient with Disc Herniation Suffering from Severe Low Back Pain

The patient started having regular low back pain 4 years ago and was diagnosed with disc degenerative disease and spinal stenosis. In another hospital, a surgical operation was suggested in case the recommended conservative treatment was not effective. The patient came across the information about our clinic while searching on the internet for treatment options other than surgical operation, and decided to undergo a medical check to see if she is a candidate.
Diagnostic Imaging Results
Low back pain on the left side for 4 years.
Disc degeneration, endplate inflammation obeserved at L4/5 disc level.
To deal with the cause of the problem reducing exessive overload and rehabilitation is recommended as the first choice of treatment.
In case the outcome is not satisfactory a disc treatment option of PLDD with an average efficacy rate of 80% can be applied.
