Male Patient in His 60's
The patient has constant pain and numbness in both of his legs and especially strong at the back of his thighs.He can walk only a short distance because the pain makes him bend forward and makes walking extremely difficult.
The patient has been diagnosed with spinal stenosis and offered to undergo a lumbar fusion operation, but he decided to see if he can be treated in our clinic because he wanted to avoid surgical procedures if possible.
Diagnostic Imaging Results
Intermittent claudication caused by pain and numbness in the sciatic area on both sides.
Disc degeneration/ herniation and lumbar canal stenosis observed at the L3 / 4, L4 / L5, L5/S1 disc levels.
DST is indicated as the treatment method.
